The Nautilus showcase provides the perfect way to display priceless objects with 90, 180, 270 or 360-degree viewing.
The Nautilus showcase system uses low iron laminated museum grade glass bonded to specially extruded aluminium sections and hinging. Laminated glass provides inherent protection from damaging UV light creating an additional protection for valuable objects. TASHCO hinging allows 90-degree access to the case interior and each door is locked using Abloy Protec Security locks. Each showcase has an approximate Air Exchange Rate (AER) of .15 per day

- Showcase glass is low iron laminated float glass with fine ground polished and chamfered edges
- Typical glass thickness is 10.38mm
- Glass filters more than 97% of UV radiation between 320 and 380 nanometres
- Bostick 795 or 791 neutral cure emission free structural glazing silicones are used where bonding is required
- TASHCO Scottish Museum approved neutral cure emission free self-adhesive silicone glazing seals are used to seal between non-bonded panels and joints
- All structural components are TASHCO designed aluminium extrusions
- Showcases can be supplied with revealed or concealed shelving to suit various suspended shelving systems
- Base frames can be supplied with levelling feet or heavy-duty castors
- All aluminium profiles can be supplied powder coated or low VOC two-pack finish
- Floor panels supplied in 18mm E0 MR ZMDF as standard
- All doors supplied with TASHCO 90 degree hinges as standard
- Showcase headers comprised of 6mm clear toughened museum grade lighting diffuser with 3mm black Forex lighting mat and sealed dust free Probond lighting lid
- Show Works recommends Preservatech miniature humidity control devices for maintaining the interior of the case within 2% of an operator determined value
